Strange theming bug on teasers

When teasers are shown in either node/add/preview mode or as a post on the group's homepage, the table tag seems to break something in the input filters, regardless of whether the node is set to Markdown or No Markdown.

See the top stickied post at http://groups.drupal.org/san-diego (The full node is http://groups.drupal.org/node/18022) When displayed as a teaser, it breaks, but when viewed as a full node, it's fine. the HTML doesn't seem to be broken, so I have to assume that it's the node tpl?

badly broken css

http://groups.drupal.org/node/16456

I'm not seeing this problem on other pages.
The CSS problem seems to be that in the comment class, overflow is set to hidden.

Please add a <br /> tag to filtered HTML

Just now I was editing a comment in order to add a couple of line break tags to clean up its formatting, and I encountered the fact that the default input format does not allow us to use a properly-formatted <br />. Moshe, could you please fix? TY.

More effective tracking of wiki pages

Possibly, I'm missing something, but within the current options available via the "Recent" tab, it is difficult to keep track of wiki pages, as the posts on the various tabs (My Recent, My Unread, Recent Posts) are sorted by most recent comment date. So, when a wiki page is created, even if it is continuously updated for 48 hours, it will sink off the top page over time, as new posts come in and receive comments.

My proposal: Add a 4th tab: Wiki Pages - this page will show all wiki pages in groups where the logged in user is a member, sorted by Created/Updated date.

Is search within groups working?

Hello, all,

I've spent nearly an hour googling and looking through various threads, and I feel like I'm missing something obvious here --

But, is search within groups working?

For example, when I search within the Drupal in Education group for the word "trombone" I get a lot of false hits -- bug in views

On a test site, I have had similarly inaccurate results when creating searches within views and exposing the Search: Index filter --

Allowed tags different between markdown and plain-filtered input formats

If you use the default markdown, you get this:
Allowed HTML tags: [h1] [h2] [h3] [h4] [h5] [h6] [em] [strong] [code] [del] [blockquote] [q] [sub] [p] [br] [pre] [ul] [ol] [li] [dl] [dt] [dd] [a] [b] [u] [i] [sup] [img] [table] [tbody] [td] [th] [tr]

If you use the "Filtered HTML -- No Markdown" input format, you get this:
Allowed HTML tags: [a] [em] [strong] [cite] [code] [ul] [ol] [li] [dl] [dt] [dd]

"Create a Story?" This is BAD UI!

Once upon a time, a developer named GreenJelly came to Groups.Drupal to write an article on how to make a Social Networking Unified Access Library (shameless plug http://groups.drupal.org/node/8371#comment-25572) and once he found the wonderful group that would support and talk about his idea, he would wonder around looking for a way to make a White Paper. At last, he was lost... He could not find a way to add a Article, he was stuck with a Story, and thus he wrote this fairy tail...

I think we should change it from Story to Article?

Theme issue on polls

Hello, all,

I just created a poll at http://groups.drupal.org/node/8202 --

When viewing the page in FF 2.0.0.11, the list of groups overlaps the first line of the poll as seen here.

Targeting the poll-view-voting id by adding:

#poll-view-voting {
  padding-top: 3cm;
}

to the stylesheet resulted in this -- a vast improvement

There's probably a cleaner way to do this, but I'll leave that to the css gurus.

Cheers,

Bill
