I came across the above discussion in Drupal Groups and the same also we discussed in our last drupal meet, What is the plan, When do we start?

The Louisiana Drupal Users group will be starting up a monthly Drupal Co-Working Day, hosted by Entrepreneur Headquarters (http://www.thinkehq.com) in Baton Rouge, on the last Friday of every month. It will be an opportunity for Drupal developers to emerge from their home offices or office cubes and spend a workday among fellow Drupalists.

With the first Coworking Friday coming up on January 27th 2012, I figured we'd need an official listing of cities that will be participating. If you are willing to start and run a coworking event in your city for Drupal Coworking Friday please list:

• The City
• The address of the coworking space
• The start and end time for coworking
• The cost (if any) for people to attend (per person)
• Your (the host) name

Is there any interest in the solo/freelancer/work-from-home set in a regular co-working meetup, similar to what Mediacurrent recently proposed at http://www.mediacurrent.com/blog/drupal-coworking-friday-we-dont-have-wo... ?

The post suggests a regular monthly schedule (last Friday of the month, starting January 2012), though with enough interest we could do it more often. I've participated in a weekly freelancers coworking morning at a north side coffee shop for the past few months, and I've found the community and connections to be quite useful.

Hi fellow Drupalistars!

Our local coworking space http://theskiff.org is organising a hackday and there's a few of us Drupalistars going down to help out - hopefully with things like profiles, bookings, etc. as it would be great to be able to connect easier with other coworkers and the wider business community and of course I think Drupal is a great platform to build this sort of stuff on.

I haven't seen coworking/hackerspaces discussed for Washington DC, Arlington or Old Town Alexandria...anyone interested? I'm picturing a drupal-friendly space for freelancers to work alone or team up...perhaps some mentoring and cooperative projects?

Anyone know of some good spaces for coworking here in gothenburg?

I was really impressed by garage48 in Tallinn, hoping something similar exists here!
