Welcome to the Drupal Ottawa User Group. We will use this group to develop the Drupal community in Ottawa, to plan local events (DrupalCamps, informal get-togethers, etc.) and to share success stories and planned / completed drupal implementations. Public servants (this is Ottawa after all) interested in deploying bilingual / Common Look & Feel compliant governmental web sites will find colleagues in this group facing the same challenges related to the introduction of drupal in the federal government.

Drupal is a modular, open source web content management framework that ships with basic functionality in the form of core modules. For the most part, you add new functionality with third party modules (known as contributed modules) that can be downloaded from Drupal.org. At some point you may find limitations. You may want to modify functionality in a contributed module or core. You may want to move your configuration to code, or access an external data source.

I'd like someone to show me (paid) how to filter 2 views of different content types on a page filtered by a taxonomy term that is shared between the them. Perhaps after the DrupalCamp Ottawa Organization Meeting #4 tonight?
I can meet you with a laptop and fresh install in hand. I'd prefer to do this through the Views UI.
Using an exposed filter on Jobs should filter titles of Resources on the same page.

Applying the filter should also filter resources:

(I asked local Drupal person Mike Gifford about a much more ambitious version of this recently and was told it would be difficult to get everything I wanted, so I'm going to back off on my requirements and see what happens. And if it's cost-effective, I'm happy to pay a local consultant to give me a hand just to make sure I do it right. Currently running Drupal 6.17 on my website, just so you know. Am also not even close to being a Drupal expert.)
