Hey howdy and happy Monday! Did you know this was the last Monday in October? That's right, it is time for another a2Drupal, and this is your customary day-of reminder!

Coming fresh off the heels of an excellent DrupalCampMI, this will be a fairly low-key event. Plan to swap questions, answers, anecdotes, stories from the camp, jokes, or anything else you might want to swap.

The last Monday of the month is nearly upon us, and we have a treat in store for you. Aaron Dudenhofer, the maintainer of the Storefront and Shiny themes, will be presenting on the new Drupal 8 templating system: Twig. Join us to learn about Twig and how to convert your phptemplates into Twig templates. This discussion should be equally useful to both designers and developers alike. Twig has been getting lots of accolades lately, so stop on by and learn why it will be amazing for you too!

The Central Ohio Drupal User Group (CODUG) is proud to announce Ohio's 3rd annual DrupalCamp:

Friday, Dec. 13th and Saturday, Dec. 14th, 2013.

DrupalCamp Ohio 2013 returns to The Ohio State University's Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center and will include keynote speeches, topical sessions, Birds of a Feather breakouts, and code sprints. Learn more about Drupal Camp Ohio.

We are only in the beginning stages of planning so bear with us as we still have the 2012 site up. Registration will open in September.

Wow! Time flies! It is already the 24th of June, so that means it is the last Monday of the month and is the Ann Arbor DUG meeting day. This is your standard day-of reminder! I hope everyone had a great break last month during Memorial Day, and for those that had returned from DrupalCon Portland, an equally enjoyable flight back home. Some people had the opportunity to discuss Portland at the meetup in Plymouth. For those that didn't get to attend or just want to wax nostalgic about DrupalCons past, we will be having our standard first-meeting-post-drupalcon review.
