Interested in digging deeper into Drupal? Lab hours will provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities for every level of Drupal Experience.

Most of us struggle to find the time to experiment with new areas of the Drupal project and expand our toolkit. If you feel the same way, this is for you! A broad range of opportunities will be presented, we hope to have something for everyone.

In this course, you'll learn how to leverage Drupal's API by creating custom modules. You'll develop a module step by step and learn how to navigate the extensive documentation available and determine where you can hook into the system and add your new functionality. This course was designed for those who have experience with site building and knowledge of PHP.Drupal is a modular, open source web content management framework that ships with basic functionality in the form of core modules.

If you're involved in online technology for your organization, you've probably heard of Drupal. In this 60 minute webinar, we intend to provide a better understanding of just what Drupal is and does. We'll outline some possible uses of Drupal as a CMS web platform and demonstrate some of the user interface for content editors as well as site architects. Whether you're trying to pick the right platform for your next web development project or you just want to better understand what Drupal does, we hope you'll register to attend this free informational webinar.

The Rules module allows site administrators to define conditionally executed actions based on occurring events (known as reactive or ECA rules). It's a replacement with more features for the trigger module in core.

Let’s take a look at Backdrop (https://backdropcms.org/) and see what great new tools exist in this Drupal 7 based fork of the project. Jason Bell had a chance to talk with Nate Haug, one of the co-maintainers of Backdrop, at the recent Midcamp and is excited to share the great work they’ve done.

Backdrop features:

• New Panels like layout system
• Configuration management
• HTML5 support
• Updated jQuery and jQuery UI
• Speed (claims faster than Drupal 7, and really who could refute that!?)
