Zlin area drupalists?
Hi All,
I'm going to be in the Zlin area for a couple months this summer and am wondering if there are other drupalists in the area? If so, and you're willing to tolerate a Canadian with almost non-existent Czech language skills, I'd love to meet up.
I am going to be telecommuting while there and looking for opportunities to get out of the house once in a while during the work day. If there are good places for co-working, or at least getting online away from the house, I'd appreciate any suggestions.
Cheers,
Ben

Read moreCity selection for DrupalCon 2010 still wide open
Please note that the list of cities from http://groups.drupal.org/node/26241 (as per the BoF in Paris) is just a list of possible suggestions. Please see the draft document that has been proposed for city selection guidelines: http://groups.drupal.org/node/27246
The goal is to publish that document at the end of this week (after incorporating feedback from the community) and to start receiving city proposals immediately after that. Since we need to have recommendations to give to the Drupal Association by October 15 the proposal phase will have to be short. The proposal phase will probably end October 1. After that we will have the proposals reviewed by the events agency to gather their feedback in time for the October 15 deadline.
If you want DrupalCon in your city/country in 2010 please review the document and add your feedback!

Dobry den,
I live in California but my wife's family is from Brno, Czech Republic. I'm learning Drupal and also learning to speak Czech. Excited to find this group and hope to be in contact with other folks who are also learning how to use Drupal.
Hello Czech Drupal Users
Just a quick Hello to everyone in the Czech Republic Drupal Users Group. I just moved to Prague from the U.S. a week ago and wanted to introduce myself. I, with my brother, run a web design/consulting/hosting business in the states aptly named BottmanBros.com. Over the last year and a half we have been happily developing in Drupal and converting our older clients from our homegrown CMS. Currently we run 20+ sites for our clients in Drupal.
