Boulder Drupal Meetup
Well September is here and with it brings another GREAT Boulder Drupal Meetup!
This month we are going to have Preston Thornton presenting on Drupal Distributions. If you are looking at building an e-commerce site or are possibly interested in one of the other many Drupal Distributions available, you should not miss this meetup.
As a bonus, Preston is also going to give us an overview of OpenShift and how it can help you get started on the server side of things.
As always there will be food and drinks provided by AppliedTrust for this event.

I am new to Drupal. I have a username and password of the one remaining admin, although she only updates pages on occasion. The people who created and maintained the site are long gone.
How do I create my own admin account?
I am tasked with adding a facebook and twitter link in the header. I have yet to find access to that.
Please help.

September 2014 Southern Colorado Meetup
This month's meetup includes talks on Drupal backup processes, writing custom Views handlers and extending the Views module, plus round table discussions.
In the afterglow of DrupalCamp Colorado, some of us got together to organize our meetups for the rest of the year. Universally, our best meetings have something for everyone: for someone who has barely touched Drupal to the expert developer. We're hoping this meeting fulfills that expectation.

This is the third month in a row where we are talking Drupal 8! As you know, three is a charm... "Rocky 3" introduced us to Mr. T, "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" was [thankfully] George Lucas' swan song with the saga, and this month we'll give you the ultimate in D8 lightning talks given at any DBUG in August this year. As always, there's free beer and pizza. The snacking begins at 6:30pm, the talk, at 7pm.

This month we'll have a presentation on Drupal Testing with Behat from meetup participant David Csonka. Testing your website's site-building and development work is essential for a proper Quality Assurance (QA) process, and Behat takes testing Drupal websites to an exciting new level!
• Light refreshments will be provided.
• Please RSVP as attendee seats are limited.
What is the South Denver Drupal Meetup?

A meeting of Drupal users from the south Denver metro area: Denver Tech Center, Lone Tree, Parker, Highlands Ranch ... you get the idea.
Drupal meet-ups are where members of the Drupal open source community gather to share knowledge, tips, and fellowship. We mostly look like web designers, web developers, user interface experts, mobile device application developers -- anyone with an interest in the Drupal open source content management platform.
We normally talk "triage" (what are you stuck on?) and "tips/tricks" (what new things have you learned, to share with others?).

I pulled the trigger, bought the plane ticket and DrupalCon ticket, and made a reservation for 2 double beds in Amsterdam at the Holiday Inn. Now I'm looking for a roommate to share the room and cost. I'm arriving Sunday, September 28th and leaving Saturday, October 4th.
Any takers?
