This group is a place to share ideas, organize and generally put our heads together regarding how Drupal is, and can be, used for nonprofit, charitable and social justice purposes.
Join us on the third Thursday of every month, at 1:00 PM U.S. Eastern for our group meeting by phone. View our next discussion date.
All calls are free and everyone is welcome! While "#npdrupal" refers to "nonprofit Drupal" (similar to "#nptech") our focus is broader than just nonprofit/NGO-specific uses of Drupal and encompasses all "Drupal for good" work like advocacy, community organizing, fundraising, and campaigns.
Our meetings take place at 1:00 PM US-Eastern/10:00 AM US-Pacific/19:00 CEST. (Convert to your local time zone.)
Looking for Drupal Developer Support / Assistance
Hello Drupalers,
I’m currently volunteering my Drupal developer services to a nonprofit Bird Rescue group in SF Bay Area. The organization is grass roots which is all volunteer based and no paid staff. We’re looking for 1-2 Drupal developers to help us with improving our website and respond to issues on an as needed basis. Unfortunately, I have very limited time to assist and would love to get some extra support.

CANCELED: No March Drupal for nonprofits/NGOs/social change discussion and Q&A
Due to the unavailability of both organizers (Ivan/rootwork and Johanna/hanpersand), we will not be hosting our regular monthly call for nonprofits and activists using Drupal. Apologies!
We'll be back next month on April 16. More details at http://bit.ly/npdrupalnotes
If you find these calls helpful and would like to volunteer to co-moderate them with us so this doesn't happen in the future, please get in touch! We'd love to get a little assistance.

Read moreThemer recommendations?
Hi all,
We're looking for awesome Drupal themer recommendations for our recoveryhub.net site. This was the project we presented about at the NYC meetup a few months back.
(The project aims to connect disaster survivors and relief agencies together on one platform to share information and resources after a disaster).
Any recommendations for front-end freelancers you've worked with (especially on the east coast) would be most helpful.
BTW: We recently moved to the Acquia platform which essentially took care of all the performance problems we were having previously.
