A particular gap to fill right now is JavaScript frameworks. If you're a jQuery expert, we'd love to talk to you! And though it won't be a focus of the job right now, if you have a little experience or interest in mobile development (mobile apps or iOS specificallly) that would be nice. (I know that's a lot to ask, but... never hurts to ask!)

Distro for online campaigning + fundraising released

Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you know that we've released a distro for eCampaigning and Online Fundraising called "Campaignion!". Would love to get your feedback!

It does things like setting up actions (e.g. petitions), donation pages and you can manage your supporters in the CRM system (built on the basis of the wonderful RedHen CRM created by thinkshout). From there we have a bunch of integrations for email marketing and things like payment processing.

A new look for the Greater Los Angeles Drupal Camp has been unveiled. “VLADCamp” is the new name of the conference, co-organized by Greater Los Angeles Drupal organizing team member Christefano Reyes, who announced the name as it epitomizes the goals for the organization moving forward.

“GLADCamp was originally envisioned as being the Drupal community's marquee event of the year that heavily focuses on the needs of non-profits, education and civic engagement. After trying 'Drupal for Good' this year, we decided that 'Drupal for Evil' would be more fun,” he explained.
