I have an e-commerce site where i navigate to a product via 3 levels. The first level is on the navigation menu - 4 ~ 6 Catagories, the 2nd level are up to 25+ "pages" each a vocabulary with a table containing a number of HTML links as per the parent vocabulary.

When a specific link on the table of the vocabulary page is clicked, the product node is displayed.

I have a site running e-Commerce 6.x-4.x-dev (2011-Jan-14) and my client wants to run sales reports. It should be a feature of this module but I am not finding it.

Anyone had any success here?

Question about setup

I'm working on a website for family member who is using PayPal Web Payments Pro. I've got the API installed and when I go to add a product to a cart and pay for it with a credit card I choose the Place the Order button and Pay Pal goes through the transaction, sends the money successfully, sends the notification correctly...but what it does not do is show a summary of the transaction before charging the card. It just takes the user to the successful payment page. What am I doing wrong to go from hitting submit to seeing the transaction complete before showing me a summary page?

e-Commerce future

With the release of e-Commerce 6.x-4.0,1,2 we have finally hit a huge milestone. It has taken a while but I am extremely happy with where e-Commerce is after all this time. It was a huge rebuild, and there is still many things that I want to get done.

Is Ecommerce 4.0 for Drupal 6 ever to be released?

With Drupal 7 around the corner, there is still no final release of Ecommerce for Drupal 6 available. I see we've arrived at Release Candidate 22 (seriously, RC22?!) after some 2 years of development.

Is it time to realize that Ecommerce for Drupal 6 will never appear due to the lack of developers?

Wouldn't it be wise to discontinue the Ecommerce project all together and shift focus to Ubercart or Drupal Commerce?

Access denied page for 'create product page'

Hi Everybody,

I have installed ecommerce module in fresh drupal 5.x installation. I followed the steps in http://www.drupalecommerce.org/content/installation for the ecommerce installation. If i go to create content --> product, i get 'Access denied' page for the admin.

I am newbie for the ecommerce module. Can anyone help with the installation and workflow for the ecommerce module. Is there any documentation available for the same.

Problems with users not logged in viewing a cart

We have inhertied a drupal site (5.x) with eCommerce module that, when a user isn't logged in, displays the same cart and notes to every guest user until they login.

Obviously this isn't ideal. I have checked the module code and I assume that this is taken by the session id, however when checking the database entries the user id associated is always 0.

Can anyone shed any light?

Ecommerce catalog & store front

Hi all; a veritable drupal newbie here. Hope this is the right place to ask for support...

I have Ecommerce installed. Everything is running fine including the payment gateways etc but my question is about the product display.

All products created are reached only by direct links to themselves. I see no block or options in the Ecommerce config to have an overview page such as a storefront which lists the products.

Any advice given would be great but as stated I'm new to drupal and ecommerce. Thanks

I was wondering if anyone has written a payment plugin for the following virtual currency type payment systems.

These have simple api's with a post callback system, can do json or xml data as well.

If nobody has written one but has written other modules can you write up what might be involved in hooking into this with drupal?

Paid membership with ec and profile module?

I'm new to ec. Is it possible to use it to setup paid membership with the start and end dates showing in members account (with profile module maybe)?
If yes, how do I go about it? Thanks.

I am trying to set up a system for a newspaper site using e-Commerce + Webform + PayPal so that users can purchase ads to announce events such as a birthday, wedding, engagement, anniversary, or birth of a baby.

Here's how it needs to work: Each Webform is a Product to be purchased through e-Commerce. Each Webform is specific to a size and type of ad; for example, "Birthday - 3x8" is the Webform for a birthday ad that will be three columns wide and eight inches tall.

I am doing some research towards the use of mobile in order to make mobile stores (so called m-commerce). Mobile offers new opportunities for Drupal developers to leverage this new playing field, but still better understanding of the needs and expectations are needed.

For this I am looking for people with experience in e-commerce (developers, or shop owners) or can refer me to someone with concrete ideas on how the ideal mobile store would look like (merchant and customer requirements, expectations)

SMS payments boku module

Someone just emailed me about the boku module for drupal but I accidentally deleted it before reading it. D'oH! on the off chance you spot this, can you resend the email?

As an aside..for those who don't know what boku is...it's the new name for mobillcash who provide a SMS payments for websites.

Setup help

I just downloaded the E-commerce module for Drupal 6. I also downloaded all the required modules. I enabled all the modules. I setup the config options. I created a product. When trying to checkout, there are no payment options available even though I have the PayPal module enabled. There also doesn't seem to be any way to specify shipping costs. What am I doing wrong?

Cannot use new content type

I tried setting up a new product type ... but it would not show up on Webform.

I went to the Webform content type and set it for "Optional" to be a product, and I checked the box for the new product type. Still, the new product type would not show up as an option if I tried to create a new Webform.

I checked the setttings for the new product type; Webform is checked under "Content type."

Any suggestions?

I found this in the documentation but can't find any email options

"Go to e-Commerce configuration » Mail and here you can set up the emails templates that correspond to various situations. You can use special placeholders, like %user that will be replaced with the actual data."

want to change default product quantity in ecommerce cart

actually when we click on "add to cart" link then it select product quantity 1 by default. but i want to change it 100 means when user click on "add to cart" default product quantity selected should be 100.

i am using drupal 6.X + ecommerce module

I'm having difficulty setting up a custom shipping fee in Drupal Ecommerce. I can't make heads or tails of the Additional Charges settings, and I can't seem to find any meaningful documentation on how to configure them. Searching the forums and trying to wing it have likewise resulted in nothing.
