Drupal Job on Florida West Coast
Pasco-Hernando State College is looking for a webmaster to maintain a Drupal 7 web site, among other duties.
The job is located in New Port Richey, Fla. just north of Tampa and St. Petersburg. Working remotely is not an option.

Hi all,
Drupal 8 is getting close now with under 40 critical bugs left: https://drupalreleasedate.com/chart/samples. It's possible that we'll see a release in September: https://drupalreleasedate.com/
At OSTraining (we were based in Sarasota), we'd like to make sure that as many people as possible can use Drupal 8.
However, many new Drupal 8 users will need training, which can be expensive and difficult to find.
So, we're running a campaign to give everyone free access to the very best Drupal 8 training.

Completely Unscientific, Unofficial Florida DrupalCamp Survey
As an ice-breaker and just for fun, we decided to put up a Quiz at our booth at the 2015 Florida DrupalCamp. It was made to be fun, simple and provide a quick means of interaction as well as checking off one's accomplishments. Points were assigned to accomplishments with more advanced items being weighted with higher points. We used weighted results to classify survey takers into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced groups. This was not done according to any standard but just roughly taking some random questions and generally categorizing them. Bonus points were given to sci-fi fans.
