Coordinating meetup.com and groups.drupal.org
We have 183 members here, and 96 at meetup.com. Meetup.com is excellent for notifying people of meetings, but less useful for discussion. This site is better for discussion.
I'd like to suggest that if you are here, but not on meetup.com, that you sign up over there. I'm going to post a similar message there. That way everyone will know everything.
And by the way, it would be great to see more people at the monthly meetups (last Tuesday of each month).

The KC Metro Area Government Webmasters (KCMagWeb) are a group of local government webmasters who meet every 3rd Thursday of each month in Overland Park, KS or MARC Headquarters in downtown KCMO. Our website can be found at http://www.kcmagweb.org/.

At our last user group meeting someone asked about the best way to move a Drupal site from SQLite to MySQL. While we came up with a few options I ran across this project today that also might help - http://drupal.org/sandbox/damz/1174672. It dumps the database out to portable format that can be imported to a site using any supported database technology. It's still a sandbox project but it looks pretty promising.

Drupal Ladder next steps
Our learn sprint (a funny word for something that seems rather sluggish and halting) got some of us up to rung 5 anyway.
The rungs above 5 are really much more free-form, and it appears that this is the point where you actually contribute instead of learning about contributing. Thus I think we could actually do an issue sprint.
An issue sprint is supposed to take two hours. Read about it at http://learndrupal.org/node/1#issue-sprint.
And of course, we need both some issues and some people to lead sprints.
