I'm looking for a co-speaker to submit a DrupalCon Chicago session on Services and Open API's. I want to take up the Open API part with three main topics:
* How to build an Open API with Services: modules used, write your own resource, authentication
* How to monetize your Open API
* How to promote your Open API
I'll be using a in production example which is currently in being tested and documented (more later).
I'm looking forward to find a co-speaker!

Something about services: interfacing with devices, use cases, something concrete. You'd like to speak?
business versus development
The bullet points you mention up top (besides building) seem business driven. I think in general RDF, Services, and the like are all good in both categories since people need to see how to piece things together (and not just through code).

how about interfacing with flash?

I proposed a session myself about integrating flash and drupal with the help of our opensource actionscript library (www.dpdk.nl/opensource). My company has made many commercial implementations with our actionscript library.
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but we are using services and particularly amfphp intensively as drupal is now the cms of choice for all our products (also flash projects).
integrating with devices? how about every mobile device with a flash player?

I would not mind doing a Small talk on how I am using Services with Aegir and integration of Ubercart. There are quite a few powerful things that I am able to now do with Aegir from a Remote Sales platform, or my Droid phone that before had to be done at the aegir site or through a cumbersome web browser on my phone.
