Hi all!
I'm an Instructional Technologist with Empire State College and we're hastily moving ahead with a "pilot" of a Drupal-driven faculty/staff portal that encourages professional organic groups and college-wide knowledge sharing. We've been talking to Advomatic to address our hosting needs and we're quite impressed with their in-house production retainers. We're trying to quickly throw together a proposal for them to give them an idea of what we want.

What do we want? lol
Since our college is made up of centers spread out throughout New York we want to create a sense of community through an organic-group driven community. We still haven't decided whether we should go Drupal 5 or 6 and we agreed with Advomatic that we should try and assemble a proposal and then move forward with their recommendations.

I'm overwhelmed with the Organic Groups Modules page so I'm wondering if there is any feedback from what is good and what areas of Organic Groups aren't exactly stable?

I sincerely apologize for any post redundancies, because there probably is already an extensive thread somewhere in this community, but we're moving in Fast Forward.

I quickly read through John Callahan's post on Module List Review and found a lot of great resources, but I figured since this was highly Organic Group focused that it was worthy of its own thread. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong?

Thanks,
Damon Cook
