Hey folks, as many of you know I have a series of short vid tuts on various subjects. I was talking to someone on IRC about doing videos and they asked if it would be OK to do one in Spanish. To which I said AWESOME! I think it would be very, very cool to make vids more accessible to folks this way. So, I'm here to see if anyone who can fluently speak in a language other than English is interested in working to create voice-overs for my "quick and dirty" videos. It definitely will require a bit of time since you will need to practice until you can get the timing to match the video but I think it would be an awesome contribution to the community (total karma props). You can watch the video(s) and record just the audio on your local machine and send me the file to add to a new version of the vid. if you are interested in helping with this please get in touch with me using my contact tab or ping me in IRC (username in IRC is add1sun as well).

Could you explain the details maybe I will be suitable to have the english text, I can translate this (if not too much technical) to Spanish and Catalan.
I can also if I have the text translated do the versions of French, Italian and Portuguese.
I suppose that with Audacity It is enough.
I have also a dedicated webserver if it is needed for testing or publishing.

Thanks for the offer ferran. Yes, I believe an audio file recorded with Audacity will work fine - I've never done this before so we'll see what works. ;-) I can try to write out some transcripts for you to work from in the next week or so. I'm pretty busy right now, so we'll see how far I get.
If anyone else has time and wants to help out, please feel free to transcribe! An easy way to help out even if you don't know a foreign language. If you do want to help with transcription, just leave a comment stating which video(s) you are working on so we don't duplicate efforts. Once you are done, shoot me an email or catch me on IRC so I can get a hold of it and I'll upload it to this post for everyone to use
