I'm looking for opinions on Masthead content.
Mastheads typically have the following:
- Paper's Logo
- Slogan
- Editor's name
- Staff reporters name
- Admin Staff, including Sales, Advertising
- Mission Statement
- Contact information for departments
- Circulation statistics.
Does this information change enough that it should be created dynamically or as static content that can be freely edited?
I don't know if I'm doing overkill by automating its creation. Any thoughts?

Module or content?
What I'm wondering though is, does it make sense to spend the time to automate the creation of the masthead. For instance, as attrition hits staff, is it too time consuming or confusing to have to maintain the masthead at the same time as the user profiles are maintained?
Is there a reason to keep a reporter out of the masthead even if they are still on staff?
If it does, then my module idea is starting to get complex. So the question remain's, is this a candidate for a module?
But thank you for your interest.
Dynamically Awesome
You have access to profile fields through Views so it'd be relatively simple to create a page that's automatically updated.
In my experience, when set up properly, automation greatly reduces the chance of error. The fewer items that have to be edited when a change needs to be made the greater the chance that a.) the full change will get done and b.) it'll be done right.

I have done Mastheads by simply setting up a Page and have everything listed within the body of the page if you have user profiles that you want to link on Drupal and their already created on your site then a simple html link should be suffice. That is my way of doing it, I'm sure other members here have a better way around it but I haven't ran into any problems doing so the way I described. My suggestion is go static.
