According to our conference call, jjeff wants more sub-themes in the default distribution.
Your sub-theme should have just a style.css, and it should work out of the box.
It needs to include good code style, and the code must be GPL.
Please comment with a theme that you would like to add.

audc_zen
I've used this for my new media group's website http://www.AUDC.org as well as a few insta-wiki's that I've built (example: http://pavoni.varnelis.net) using the instructions here: http://drupal.tschannen.net/wiki/set_up_a_wiki_with_drupal_5.
I was aiming for a little more zen with this.
Being a designer, the less design the better.
Away with all the blue, the Trebuchet, all that stuff, gone!
I'm including all the files that I think are needed to get it off the ground. The only changes have been to the overrides.css and printoverrides.css. Honestly, I haven't test the latter too much.
Probably some room for improvement, but I haven't seen any other sub-themes at all (am I just missing where they're supposed to be???), I thought this would be a start.

Zen improvements
Have been diving into the development fork of zen and added some suggestions to clean up the theme without touching the core:
http://drupal.org/node/161812
Don't have nor want a developers account so perhaps someone is willing to add the suggestions to the fork?
Edit: created a patch at the same location; request for reviewers to proceed
Edit: added advanced selectors as a feature request: http://drupal.org/node/162938
hmm no images? Those will look nice :(
Hi I am planning to contribute my theme ( http://www.craigntammy.com )
but it has images should I just contribute it to drupal.org themes instead?
Until all have heard
