So now we know our formapi - we can theme and display our forms any way we want to. But how do we make those forms actually DO something? ajk^ has volunteered to show us how to connect the database to our forms.
Module settings, database rows, all done the Drupal way.

When will screencast be available for download?
Hi-
I missed this one despite really looking forward to it because at groups.drupal.org the start time was listed as 2007-08-06 14:00, instead of on the 5th (Sunday). I'll wait for the screencast.
Great topic. I've been trying to get into using drupal to create forms, but am unsure how to dive in.

two things:
a) You won't need this lesson to be able to make forums. Enable forum module, taxonomy module, and comment module, set up some categories, and you're done.
b) The screencast is coming soon
Hehe, I think he meant
Hehe, I think he meant forms, not forums.
