Rhode Island may be a tiny state, but Drupal's making a pretty big splash here. We've been having regular meetups for the past year in Providence via DrupalPVD.org with new faces every month. Our focus is equal parts designer, developer and site owner; our goal is to help everyone learn, grow and share their experience working with and on the Drupal platform.
Our other source of Drupal company is the Boston group which caters to all of Massachusetts and occasionally has meetings close to Rhode Island.
MetroWest Drupal Meetup VII
If you pay attention to stuff, (and you probably do because you're reading this) you may be thinking "Hey wait, Agaric didn't host a drupal meetup in june!" and you'd be right about that, but now you know why we threw in the extra one back in february (http://groups.drupal.org/node/19220), although you probably knew that was the reason way back then, and were just waiting to see which month it was that we chose to skip...
Well, now you know, and knowing is half the battle

THIS Wednesday MetroWest Drupal Meetup at Natick Library
My esteemed colleague of Drupal meetup etiquette fame booked a room in our usual hangout, the Morse Institute Library at 14 East Central Street, downtown Natick by the Common, a block from the MBTA stop.
And then he never posted about it here. Or told his Agaric colleagues either. But the meetup is officially on now!
On the topic agenda:
- Communication in a web collective
- Timeliness in all things
- The measured use of sarcasm in posts

fbconnect and twitter screencast
http://matthewm.org/blog/drupal-screencast-fbconnect-module-and-twitter-...
So I made my first attempt at a screencast. It's pretty simple and straight forward - I hope someone finds it useful. It just goes through activating fbconnect and twitter modules. I also go over some of the basic feature/function to get you up and running asap. Enjoy!

Looking to barter for in-person Drupal tutoring
Greetings -
I am a brand-new Drupal user who is working with my other 3 brand-new-Drupal-user co-workers to take on finishing the development of our new website now that we have had staff shrink due to the economy. And it's past time for me to learn how to do this stuff!!!
We're a grassroots advocacy group (current antiquated site: www.champnetwork.org) fighting for better HIV/AIDS policies in the United States. We are also a member of May First People Link (www.mayfirst.org)
I'm interested in bartering for Drupal tutoring and support as we plunge into this exciting endeavor...
Read moreFeedback on a custom contact form
Looking for some help/ideas on a custom contact form. Webform displays a token %title to pass, what i'm assuming is, the node title. However, it dosn't seem to be working correctly. I've posted a support question on the project page. So i'm looking to pass either the node title or node url of a webform that I have embedded in a block on said node.
Has anyone acheived passing custom tokens/arguments in a webform? Even further any luck passing custom cck fields in a webform or just a standard node that dosn't get published but e-mail via actions/triggers?
Any help would be appreciated.

Right now you are probably asking yourself, "Why two Metrowest drupal meetups in one month?" Or maybe you are asking yourself, "Wait, what first meetup?" "Um, the one that was announced two days ahead of time," we confess, using advanced mind control (a soon-to-be-released Drupal module) to interrupt your internal monologue. To which you reply, "Just how much attention do you think anyone pays to you?"
