This is a local user group for sharing knowledge about Drupal and networking with other folks in the greater Seattle web/tech community.
SeaDUG meets monthly to talk about Drupal, to plan related events, and to socialize. During SeaDUG meetings we showcase modules and projects, share tips and tricks, and answer nagging questions about Drupal.
We welcome participants from all skill levels and all disciplines related to website building and development - marketers, project managers, developers, designers, writers, devops, user researchers, QA, and more.
Stay in Touch
- Join the SeaDUG Slack workspace to chat regularly with other SeaDUG community members.
- Follow us on LinkedIn for more frequent news and Drupal-related content sharing.
Jobs
PLEASE do not post job offers in this group unless they are local to Seattle, or remote and open to people who live in Seattle. Any job posted to this group that is not in the Seattle/Puget Sound Metropolitan Area or open to its residents will be promptly removed.

Issues with Feeds
I am having some issues with Feeds. What is happening is that I have a 516 line CSV file that I am trying to import using feeds and convert each line into a node. The problem I am having is that Feeds will upload the CSV file but will not parse the file and make the appropriate node. I've tried about a dozen different times to get feeds to work, including deleting and creating a new feed profile, uninstalling and reinstalling the module, deleting the uploaded file from the server, clearing the cache, ensuring the feed profile contained the proper settings, etc.

So, my school is moving soon, to interbay, and with the move, we want to upgrade from the craptacular DSL service we have now. What's available in Seattle? Centurylink and Comcast obviously, but who else should I contact?
Thanks!

CCK image fields
I was curious if there was anyone who might be attending the next SEADUG meeting willing to listen to some questions about CCK image fields or someone on the list has a good link.
We have it setup and working great under Drupal 6 but I am curious about options (if any exist) to avoid having to upload the same image over and over for different nodes. I want to investigate the best method for making a library or set of images available to the editors for populating these fields. Or at least a good workaround.

Leaving out empty fields in D7 Webforms email
I was trying to find some form of documentation on how to leave out empty fields in the email form. I tried several variations and they all threw errors or left out the incorrect fields. I'm using Webforms on D7, so if anybody can lead me in the right direction, it would be appreciated. All of the fields that can be left out if blank are textareas if that helps. Here are the pages I looked at previously:

Read moreFront-end login for Sharepoint
I am writing a proposal to a prospective client for a complete migration of their website from their classic ASP CMS to Drupal. For the most part, it will be a very straightforward migration using very common Drupal features. The only complicated part is the Sharepoint login. Currently, employees are able to use the website front-end to log into the Sharepoint portal. I only need to be able to replicate that feature and put it on the new site. So by no means does this need to be a complete Sharepoint integration.

Patch for Bug Using CurvyCorners and IE9
If any of you are using CurvyCorners in your front-end development, you should be aware that there is a bug that will cause IE9 to have some erratic behavior. I was able to figure out a CSS-based patch that will make this issue go away and ensure IE9 behaves. You can read about it on my blog if interested: http://www.jeremyrperry.com/blog/bug_using_curvycorners_ie_9_and_patch_it
