This is a local user group for sharing knowledge about Drupal and networking with other folks in the greater Seattle web/tech community.
SeaDUG meets monthly to talk about Drupal, to plan related events, and to socialize. During SeaDUG meetings we showcase modules and projects, share tips and tricks, and answer nagging questions about Drupal.
We welcome participants from all skill levels and all disciplines related to website building and development - marketers, project managers, developers, designers, writers, devops, user researchers, QA, and more.
Stay in Touch

Jobs

Read moreDrupal CSS Styling Issues with IE
I am working on a Drupal project right now that Internet Explorer is giving me some major issues with properly displaying how I want my drop-down menu to work. The styling that I am trying to accomplish is to create the drop down menu items that has a disc list style type with a green color along with a white hyperlink with no text decoration. For some reason, Internet Explorer wants to create a whole new li section for the list style type and keep the actual li a completely different styling. No other browser does this.

I bought a single ticket with the party and it looks like I'm not going to make it. I'm sure everyone has made their plans by now, but in case someone would want it, I could let it go at a discount. If you're interested just shoot me a note and we can work it out.
*edit - Sorry for posting, looks like I'll be going to Denver after all. See you there!

This post is not directly Drupal-related, but I am trying to install Ubuntu Linux on an old G4 PowerPC Mac, to use as a Drupal server. I can't get the Mac to see the Ubuntu disc when I try to boot from CD. If you are even semi-knowledgeable about this I would appreciate any guidance you might be able to provide. Thanks.

Hi all -
I'm working with a non profit called Hope With Love to create a site, HopeOneSource, to use in their efforts to aid in collaboration of non-profits while working in relief efforts. This is a bootstrap effort and already has a large test group setup to support the efforts in Haiti. What I'm looking to do is overhaul and finish the site sometime in the next month so they can move into testing with these groups. The site will rely on gmaps, location, SMS and Notifications in order to help better the communication among relief workers in-country.

Drupal 7 Single Sign On possibilities with the Domain Access Module
The background: We (currently) have 2000 domain names pointed at a single IP. Drupal inherently has the ability to use multisite, but for our particular Drupal 7 install we use a module named Domain Access to delegate sites. The gist is though that Domain Access will not allow cross site logins, but yeah, we would like our editors to log in once, and have access to all sites.
