Successful Meetup Last Night in Columbia
We had a great meet-up last night at the library in Columbia. We had 8 attendees, including two first-timers.
Software Specialists, (softwarespecialists.com), has agreed to purchase pizza for the group once we get to 10 attendees. Hopefully we'll accomplish this at our next meeting, May 10, 6:00 pm, in the Bank of America room at Richland County Public Library.
I've created an SC Drupal Group at meetup.com, meetup.com/SC-Drupal-Users-Group. Please sign-up there to stay informed about meetings.

For Drupal fans in the Lowcountry, I wanted to let you know that CHSDUG is alive and kicking. We started in December, mostly as a result of some discussions at Barcamp CHS last fall. We meet the first Tuesday of every month at Rehava in North Charleston. We are partnering with Charleston Coworking and just tacking an organic group onto their website for now. You can join CHSDUG or post on our forum here: http://chscowork.org/forum.
We're still very fledgling so any advice on marketing this thing and getting speakers would be great. I'm also interested in hearing from Lowcountry Drupalers on what topics you want to hear about, or if you're interested in doing a presentation yourself.
Thanks!
Nicholai

Capacity is limited, so sign up now! More details coming soon!!
We are also seeking sponsors for the event. We have three sponsorship breakdowns at $1000 / $500 / $250. We are tight on time as we are only 2 weeks out, but the need is small! We only need one of each to meet the needs of the camp. If you can help, please get in contact with us by visiting http://drupalcampnashville.com/contact .

I was curious if anyone from NC / SC / East coast was interested or heading out to Drupal Camp Austin? It's only $40 to attend 2 days next weekend, but the trip is about 19 hours for us.
Would anyone be interested in saving some money and car pooling down and back? I would love to go but don't have a reliable vehicle to make the trip. I live in Asheville, NC.

UPDATE:
OK. So we've decided to move it to lunch on Wednesday the 4th. It will be an informal meeting with some light Drupal talk and mainly we'll just be trying to gauge everyone's interest level, drupal skill level, and when we might want to do these.
The location is Grindz in West Ashley, but Facebook refuses to let me update the location (it insists that when I change the location I've added an invalid time. Brilliant.)
