It's that time of year again!
This year I have been asked to do a 2.5hr Drupal Advanced Workshop on Sunday the 9th. I'll post more details when they come.
My question is... Who else is going?
I'll be in town from Wednesday 3/5 to Monday 3/10. Being my 1st SxSw, I didn't think to grab housing early. I still haven't secured a place, so any opportunities to share costs would be sweet.

During the second weekend of March, tens of thousands of tech and creative geeks descend upon Austin for SXSW -- yet this year's conference doesn't offer an official Drupal-focused session. We've decided to take matters into our own hands!

US patent reform and open source: Who is the best candidate for the OS community?
My friend whurley has launched an online poll to bring open source to the attention of politicians -- specifically, the presidential candidates. He, like many of us, is troubled by the recent calls for patent reform put forth by larger companies that may wind up blocking innovation and threatening open source-oriented companies and contractors.
