views

We're considering building an AIR app that (at least) uses Drupal as the back-end data source. We were wondering whether we'd also be able to display a Drupal View from within the AIR app (using Services) or not? Same question applies for any custom modules we may build in Drupal.

The reason we are asking, is because we have an existing D6 site with Views and custom reporting modules, and we'd like to leverage those in an AIR app.

I'm looking to strip some HTML tags from the teaser/body fields output by a view. Specifically, I want to remove images, tables, etc., and retain only simple text markup (p, br, strong, em, etc.). Where and how can I add the code to perform this?

For CCK fields, I understand that this can be accomplished neatly with custom formatters. Does something similar exist for formatting node teasers/bodies?

Det känns som jag har fått hjärnsläpp som inte kan lösa detta till synes enkla problem i Views 3: Jag försöker flytta Views-blocket "Main page content" till den inaktiva regionen under Admin -> Structure -> Blocks men får felmeddelandet Region for Main page content block field is required.. Jag har i stället ett antal egna block från Views som ersätter detta block i Content-regionen i temat.

Fräsch Drupal 7-installation, med senaste versionen av CTools och Views 3. Allt ser bra ut i Admin -> Reports -> Status.

Vad göra?

Does anyone know where I can find info on whether Views allows a join query?

i already created an issue but got no reaction. Someone here using apachesolr_views? If yes please tell me which version of views you use (or which dev snapshot). I tried 6.x-3.x-dev and alpha3 but report errors.

Jag har jobbat med drupal 6 men tänkte nu gå över till drupal 7. Problemet jag har är att de nya fälten jag skapar (t.ex. nytt fält för en användare) inte dyker upp på något ställe när man ska skapa en view. Dvs. jag kan inte (genom en view) presentera innehållet i fältet, inte använda fältet som ett argument, inte skapa en relation eller något annat eftersom fälten in finns med i listan.

Har även lagt in modulen Profile2 där jag skapat en himla massa fält men inte ens från den dyker dem upp.

When visiting node/x, how to use this node's NID and term(s) as argument to get related terms and associated nodes?

Say, node/123 has a vocabulary "Country and City" and its terms are Canada and Vancouver respectively. Within the same vocabulary, "Canada" is a related term of "USA" and "Mexico", and "Vancouver" is a related term of "Burnaby", "Richmond". Then I want to get a related terms View that list nodes associated with terms USA, Mexico, Burnaby and Richmond. Of course, also those nodes which have terms Canada and Vancouver too.

Tengo un problema con Views.

Tengo un View creado con su Display respectivo, en el display tengo Path: jobs, e incluso pedi que estuviera en el Navigation menu. Sin embargo ninguna de las dos cosas funciona:
/jobs = page not found
Y el item no se agrego al menu Navigation.

Alguien en el foro me dijo q limpiara el cache pero quisiera saber por que hacer eso, y si fuera necesario q tipo de cambios requiren limpiar el cache para evitar estos problemas.
