How do I create content in Openpublish 2.1.

More specifically, i want to be able to give different roles the ability to create content.

In open atrium, I would add the content type to context and the context add button would appear.

However, I do not see this in Openpublish.

Any help?

One of my first tasks in building the Boston Review's new OpenPublish site was adding some custom fields to the Article type in OP 2.0. But when I upgraded to OpenPublish 2.1 I ended up having to start from the stock Article type in 2.1 and re-add the extra fields.

So what is the best way to add some CCK fields to the stock OpenPublish article type in a way that is upgradeable?

No matter what I do, embedded youtube videos will not appear in a blog.
And yet, they appear in the teaser.

Any ideas why this could have suddenly started happening today? Yesterday, this was not the case.

The only thing I can think of that has changed is that I activated MORE LIKE THIS, and that's obviously for the blog, and not the blog teaser.

I need help recovering articles from an OP database. The backup I made only recovered the sub-heds or teasers. How do I recover the actual articles? Many thanks in advance?

Some blocks, which are off in admin, are shown on home page. How I can change this?

I have been trying for a couple days to create content types (News, Sports, Obituaries).
First, I tried cloning article. But there is no clone ability for some reason.
So I exported it and imported it, but for some reason, it wasn't recognized as a content type (yes, FCC editor was off).
So then I tried taxonomy.
But that has been difficult. I was able to create page views just fine, based on article. But for some reason, the block views and featured homepage taxonomy isn't as effective. The blocks don't all get created. And even when they do, they don't always show.

Hello Everyone,
I would like to know what method everyone is using to display their content. My plan is to use a combination of panels to create a "News Centers" which will list all the content and handle paging. I have also considered using the Taxonomy Menu module.

What's your set-up like?

As I begin arranging my actual site, I'm working on editing Permissions to content fields via the Field Permissions Module. I need to access the "Body" field in the Article Content type, yet beside it there's no configure link. It's shown as a Node Module Form, could someone explain exactly what that is?

I suppose I could create my own content type, but I thought perhaps I'd roll with the template. Will not having said "Node Module Form" effect anything?

Thanks to those who have assembled this Drupal package, as this rich semantic information framework has impressive possibilities.

I've to conceed, I'm not a developper nor a tech-geek, but a french journalist (excuse my poor english writing knowledge). My interest in Openpublish is driven 'cause it's close to main needs of a digital publication and, go hundred steps farther.

I've tried to put hands on OP 1.5-309 with a very few results. For yesterday, I've installed and tried to customize OP 1.6-357, and it's really interesting, even amazing in some ways.
