HTML/CSS Hell
I been with drupal for quite some time, havent used other cms's on market but often i heard D is one of most harder to do and learn. Compering to WP for example i was often tempted to try and learn wp as sometimes it seem development of sites was too slow in drupal and in the end its all about time.

Read moreAssistance with changing around a theme
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me in figuring out how to change something in an already existing theme. I am learning Drupal, all at the same time [configuration, architecture, templates and css] - I am actually a designer and my intention is to master it, but right now I am stuck in something I think is a very simple css/template glitch.

Read morePrimary links menu block suddenly got larger
Hi
Not sure how t happened but after I added some extra modules (location and calendar) the block that contains the primary links menu expanded from 45 to 123 (firebug).
I am using a submenu based on openpublish-theme. If I have empty files under the css in the submenu it stays the same size. If I go back to the openpublish theme then everything goes back to normal.
I can get round it by putting top.-50px; in the css for nav but would prefer to find the source of the problem and correct it there.
Any thoughts anyone, and please be gentle if the answer is really obvious.
Read moreNew Comment/Reply Comment Page CSS
Hi everybody,
I am relatively new to Drupal. I am trying to theme the "create comment" or "reply to comment" pages of my website, but can't seem to manage this. There doesn't seem to be any CSS class for these pages as a whole. I need a class which comes before all other ones, just after HTML. Optimally I would like to create a CSS class that is in the BODY which applies to all of the reply and add comment pages.
To better help everyone understand which pages I am talking about, here are the example URL's of them:

Change color in first-level and second-level menu items highlated in dark redish
Hello. I'm new to OpenPublish and I love the layout and theme and everything about it.
The only problem I have while trying make a subtheme is that I can't find where to change the dark-redish background colour to something else.
Check the image attachment to get the idea easily.
I'm referring to the "current section" highlight of the primary-links menu which has the background #770C2A when selected... and entire set of secondary-links which gets the same #770C2A background. I got the "770C2A" code from the Paint.NET sampler.

Read moreSass Mixins for Zen theme overrides
I have written a Sass base file with variables and mixins meant to ease the override of Zen layout-fixed.css
http://gist.github.com/614645
It provides variables like $zen-content-position, which controls whether the content comes before the two sidebars, in the middle of the sidebars or after them. other variables control sidebars and content width, and navigation height.
The idea behind this sass file is making Zen easier to manipulate without editing any of the provided css files.

I would like the dark transparent background to only be as tall as the "Seascape Banner" behind it.... and have the Seascape Banner grow or srink to fit the content of the Preface Top region.
-
I've only been able to make that background appear by making a change to local-css even though all the banner backgrounds are in the style.css file. How to make them all available?
-
I'd like to control whether the background in Preface/Top appears on first page or in others. Right now it seems to be in all pages.
I am using Fusion/Acquia 6.x 2.x and Skinr 1.5.
