Mentors/coaches for proposals
One observation I've had from lurking in the Knight Drupal Initiative meetings is something that's haunted me before. If only I was good at writing a solid grant proposal and subsequent review and revisions, some of my pie-in the sky ideas might actually turn into something valuable for the community (and provide a self-sustainable way for me to contribute).

Drupal Boston 2008 is taking place March 3 to March 6, with a code sprint on March 7 at MIT.
See details here http://boston2008.drupalcon.org/
As you can see from the budget below, the attendance fee does not cover all the costs. http://boston2008.drupalcon.org/drupalcon-budget
Therefore, any form of financial support is appreciated. If you are a Drupal user or a Drupal shop, please discuss this with your manager and find ways to spread around the word, so all the costs are covered.

Attention Drupal companies - FrOSCon 2007 is seeking sponsors. EUR300 is enough to become a bronze sponsor and have your company logo next to MySQL's. FrOSCon is dedicating a large lecture hall with a projector, a smaller "hackers" room, wifi, air conditioning, food for the presenters, and swag, all so that we can have a dedicated Drupal track. Becoming at least a bronze sponsor is a great way to show our appreciation to them for this effort, and to help make FrOSCon 2007 a defining moment for the German Drupal community.
