Hi all,

What are nonprofits doing to ensure a smooth donation process, including 'in memory' and recurring donations without leaving your website?

I'm working on a website for a nonprofit animal-related organization, and I wanted to find the best way to accept donations via paypal WITHOUT being taken to the paypal page.

We're currently using CiviCRM, which does this trick, but the new site will not have CiviCRM. It's in Drupal 7.

Should I go with a PayPal API integration? If so, I think that's beyond my expertise and would likely need to hire someone for that.

There is an up coming policy update for PayPal which will enable ZAR for South African users and is set to go into effect on the 20th of Feb 2013.

Estoy un poco atascado con esto y me he aventurado a preguntar por aquí. Estoy probando una tienda hecha con Ubercart, y cuando se realiza el pago por Paypal todos los campos de dirección, código postal etc se transfieren correctamente, salvo el campo provincia.

La página de paypal da error por faltar el campo, y en la versión móvil esta pantalla es muy poco intuitiva por lo que resulta un problema el que no se transfiera la provincia.

Soy novatillo en esto, gracias :)

I have created an ubercart using PayPal Website Payments Standard - with one product. All is fine except when I get to the checkout screen - under the PayPal payment method there is text (that is confusing) that says "Continue with checkout to complete payment." - How do I change this?

Cause if you "Review Order" below comments – you can complete the order there….

Hey fellow Drupalers -

I have a quick question on using PayPal with Ubercart (or Drupal Commerce):

1. I have both Drupal 6 sites (Ubercart) and Drupal 7 (Ubercart or Drupal Commerce) sites that need shopping cart integration
2. Do I need to have the PayPal $30 a month merchant account to integrate using the API? Or can I integrate with the "free" PayPal account?
3. Are any of you using PayPal currently with UC/DC and can you provide me your feedback as to how well it works? (as opposed to Google Checkout, etc.)

Is it possible to turn PayPal on and off based on the product?

For example, I am using Ubercart for event registrations. The events are set up as products and there are some events where we don't want to make online payment available. Yet, there are others we would like to have PayPal included.

Is this possible with PayPal and Ubercart?

I have a working and reasonably-complete module that integrates LM PayPal and User Points so that users can use PayPal to buy user points (or whatever you've called them). This provides a flexible subscriptions system, with all the various userpoints modules linking in.

In the last week or so, IPNs from Paypal have started using a different email account (one of mine but not one associated with my paypal account!!) and the notification is failing. The transaction is fine and the payment is received but Ubercart does not receive the notification and so nothing else happens on the drupal site side of the equation. Money is not lost but things are screwed up.

Paypal forums suggest this is a paypal problem so I'm curious to know if anyone else has seen problems with this recently. Or gotten an answer from Paypal?

I'm so frustrated with trying to get information from PayPal and FNB. Can anyone please answer a few questions for me regarding PayPal as a payment means on a South African eCommerce site, geared toward servicing a South African market?
