taxonomy

Hi!

I'd like to use Taxonomy in order to define site-wide filters.

What I mean is the following:
On the start page you select a region and one or more Music styles. When you then enter the site, the selections for Regions and music styles should be used as a "global filter" so that one can navigate the site without having to re-select the region and/or Music styles over and over again.

How can this be done?

Hi there! I'm trying to set up a menu that contains links to all the nodes/stories associated with a term, is there a module for doing that? I've tried looking at "taxonomy menu" and "taxonomy context" but they only seemed to create links to terms in a vocabulary, not to nodes in a term..
Basically, I have a vocabulary called "categories", with 2 terms in it "health" and "food" and I'd like to have two menus in the right column with links to all the articles in each category (and they should update whenever I add a new article)

views_bonus_summary_combo i modulen Views_bonus erbjuder ett index "A (350) | B (234) | C (34) ..." vilket länkar till sidor med kategorier, vilket i sin tur länkar till noder som finns under resp. kategori. Nu (tror jag) kan detta index endast visas via en länk i menyn.

Jag har modifierat lite i koden, men går bet på hur man får detta index att synas exv. i ett block. Jag har försökt att skapa en View för detta men har misslyckats. Jag har programmeringskunskaper men för lite drupalkunskaper.

For a hiking-community offering free maps, I want to create 3 different Panels for the 3 hirarchical taxonomy levels I use to categorize the maps.
- one Panel for the first level taxonomy displaying a specific node (grafical map) for each term, block with child terms, block with node list of promoted maps
- one Panel for the second level taxonomy displaying a specific node (Text for this hiking region) for each term, block with child terms, block with node list of promoted maps

Has anyone in this group found an elegant way to override the order in which Taxonomy Terms are displayed on a node? Or any way, for that matter...

Jag har två taxonomy-fält vilka hamnar i samma gruppram (categories) och mitt önskemål är att flytta det ena fältet så att det hamnar direkt under body-fältet.
Fältet hanterar artikelns källa och jag tycker att autocomplete-funktionen är bra.

Is there any chance to get operators "+" and "," working under pathauto like they do in plain taxonomy module?

I've been doing quite a lot of seo tweaking to various Drupal sites over the past few years. I've run into an issue that I would like to throw out for discussion. On the one hand, taxonomy is great for categorizing your site, getting crawled and helping engines understand your clusters of content. On the other hand, all of those taxonomy links in posts are internal site "votes" for taxonomy listing pages which might or might not be the key search engine target pages for those concepts.

I'm currently trying to implement a subscription system that allows users to gain access to all content tagged under a certain category. My first thought was to do role-granting, but there will be at least 10-20 categories, and that would simply be cumbersome.

In addition to category subscriptions, I'd also like to do per-user subscriptions-- so if you like what Bob Smith has written, you can buy a monthly recurring subscription to his posts for $x.xx.
