Saforian developed an event app for the upcoming DrupalCon Portland. We’ve researched, deliberated, and made some cut-throat decisions to compile our list of the best things to do in Portland. Our fun, interactive app lets you live it up at DrupalCon by showing you what’s going on at the conference and the hot spots to check out in Portland, along with making it easy to connect with other Drupal lovers. Not only is the app loaded with useful easy-to-access information but the way it's presented and its user interface are incredibly fun and interactive.Read more
Would anyone be interested in a group viewing session of DrupalCon? For those of us not going, I'm thinking that we could get together for a full day of watching the best of DrupalCon 2013. This is assuming all the sessions will be recorded, just as they have been for the past however many DrupalCons. NCSU Libraries could potentially provide space for this too, I can definitely get a room with tables that holds 20-30 people.Read more

Only 2 days left until we kick off in Coogee!
Sydney is looking like turning on some amazing weather from Wednesday onwards, with sunny skies, light north winds and temperatures between 24 - 34 degrees. Pack those hats and sunscreen, and remember to swim between the flags if you're taking a dip between sessions.
If you're arriving from overseas or interstate, we recommend grabbing a taxi from the airport to the hotel as the most direct route. Sydneysiders can grab a 30min bus from downtown (http://www.131500.com.au), or limited parking is available at the hotel for $18 per day.Read more

I can unfortunately (!) not attend our awesome DrupalCon Sydney, so I need to get rid of my ticket for this.
A bit last minute I know, but. Is there still people out there who need a ticket?
If so, then either contact me here or on twitter: tinefin.
Would love it if I can find someone.
Just a final callout to those attending DrupalCon Sydney. We still have positions open for room monitors, so if you're able to help out, sign up here http://sydney2013.drupal.org/sign-drupalcon-site-volunteer-shift.
