Just a few quick updates this week...

Session submissions have been streaming in and close on Friday October 26, so there's only 3 working weeks to get yours in at http://sydney2013.drupal.org/program/submit-session. All speakers will be eligible for a half price event ticket once selected.

With the unfortunate cancellation of DrupalCon Sao Paolo, the focus will be shifting firmly to DrupalCon Sydney in February 2013 (http://sydney2013.drupal.org), so here's a few things to prepare for:
- Session submissions are already open, and there's been a fantastic initial response from local and international applicants. The deadline is Friday October 26, so there's six weeks to get your submission in at http://sydney2013.drupal.org/sessions

As is the case with most of the PM BoF’s I’ve done over the past 4 Drupalcons, the conversation I was most interested in was around lessons learned. I love it when people can discuss where their projects went off the rails, why, what drives them crazy and how we can all learn from those experiences and exchange ideas/solutions.

The first DrupalCon to be held outside the U.S. and Europe will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on December 6-8. I’m excited to be part of the Content Team and the track chair of the large-scale Drupal track for this important event.
