DrupalCon Prague is a little way off yet but I'm already getting excited about it. I've been looking into the feasibility of travelling there by train from London. Here are the logistics for travelling from the UK via Cologne in Germany http://seat61.com/Czech.htm#Prague.

It sounds like a fun adventure to me! I wondered if anyone else was thinking about doing something similar. Perhaps we could hold DrupalCon's first international train sprint and call it "Drupal On Rails"?

Give me a shout if you want to shun Ryanair and doing some collaborative overland travel planning.

I've been thinking about how to organize/connect/network with other travelling drupalists and also for myself.

I would imagine individuals introduction along with interests and what they want and what they can offer in terms of traveling, networking, hosting etc.
Here is my description and I feel we could make a website to organize information better to easily search and find each other and self match making. :)

We are an ecotourism company based in Helena, and have a Drupal website (check it out: www.ietravel.com). I have a Drupal firm that is helping me with upcoming big projects: e-commerce, certain other enhancements, etc., but they are quite expensive. I need someone with a strong portfolio who can help out with the routine maintenance and more minor enhancements. I would prefer they be in Birmingham or nearby. We have a test server environment set up on Rackspace, by the way.

I am excited about Dries' visit to India and I am hoping to meet with him at the Drupal Camp Deccan (http://groups.drupal.org/node/181224).
As November 11th is a Friday, I am planning to stay in Hyderabad for the weekend too. I am planning to do the travel and lodge booking in the next week. I have not yet decided whether I will be taking the bus or train.

If anybody from Bangalore is coming for Drupal Camp Deccan, drop a comment so that we can discuss and decide whether to go by train or bus. I think we can book the tickets and lodges together too.

There have been a number of discussions regarding flights to Chicago for DrupalCon 2011. I thought I'd start a thread where people could post found 'deals' so that those of us, who have yet to make arrangements, might also be able to save a buck.

Just wanted to share a little local Seattle project since we didn't make it to the last SEADUG meetup. We just completed the Olympic Peninsula Tourism site built on Drupal 6, local project done by local Seattlites :) !
