DrupalCamp Edinburgh and Drupal7Camp UK would like to announce they are joining forces for “Britain does Drupal” a weekend of Drupal Mayhem on 21st/22nd May.

If your focus is Drupal 7 development, themeing or performance then head to Leeds but for a wider focus Edinburgh is where you want to be.

But don't worry if you can't decide where to go, we aim to provide live streaming between the venues and Drupal7Camp is planning to run again in the last quarter of this year.

After the great success of our first DrupalDownunder in January in Brisbane, and the overwhelming support for the idea we should do it all again - DDU2012 is planned for Jan14-15 in Melbourne.

Jan14-15 is the weekend immediately before linux.conf.au which will be in Ballarat (90 mins drive north west of Melbourne).

The date for DrupalCamp Edinburgh 2011 has been finalised. It will be held on 21st May in the Informatics Forum, University of Edinburgh.

We announce that Drupalcamp Bucharest 2011 is open for registration on the event website at b2011.drupalcamp.ro.

Drupal Romania Association currently organizes its second major event: Drupalcamp Bucharest 2011, taking place during 7th and 8th of May, 2011 after the successful first Romanian Drupalcamp organized in Timisoara - last year.

Estoy descubriendo la cantidad de trabajo y esfuerzo que requiere organizar un evento así, y quería aprovechar para dar ánimos a los responsables de este acontecimiento, y la velocidad con la que el tiempo avanza.

During DrupalCamp Chicago, a couple of "DrupalCamp Organizers" BoF sessions led to the decision that an updated and improved DrupalCamp Organizing Guide (DCOG) would serve the community well - providing aspiring user groups with valuble information about organizing their first camp, as well as providing experienced user groups with a structured place to share resources and lessons from their experiences.

I just posted the as-official-as-it-is-going-to-get Florida DrupalCamp 2011 wrapup over on DrupalEasy.com. The wrapup contains information from the post-camp survey as well as lessons we learned.

I decided to post it on DrupalEasy so that it would be picked up by Drupal planet - there are a good deal of "lessons learned" that are relevant to DrupalCamp organizers in other locations.

Wanted to take a minute to "officially" announce that the "official" planning for a DC DrupalCamp has started. Kirsten with Drupal4Gov is working on lining up a space for July 22-23. We are looking for your ideas, your interest in helping out and any sort of feedback you might have at this stage.

Be on the lookout for a more official announcement and the ability to register coming in the next few weeks!

At the Drupal Drinks on Friday night we decided to organise another Drupalcamp Edinburgh. We are currently looking at dates in April.

Taking on board the feedback from last years Drupalcamp we are going to make the agenda beforehand rather than the barcamp-style we had.
