DrupalCamp

DrupalCamp Donetsk 2011 — is yearly event for Drupal folks, which happens in Donetsk, Ukraine. In this year we are going to have 120 attendants and about 12 sessions. Estimate dates is 26-27 of November 2011. There will be separate track for BOF and code-sprints. Slides of the session are going to be in English. I'm part of the core organization team for Drupal Camp Germany 2011. We would be very happy if we could have some more Drupalchix presenting and attending our DrupalCamp, so here is the "official" invitation:

On september 17th and 18th we will have Drupal Camp Berlin 2011, which is organized of members of the Drupal Usergroup Berlin. We are looking for interesting topics and for good presenters. Would you like to present?

On July 26th we will announce the first details about our DrupalCamp Singapore.
The announcement will be made in Hackerspace.SG, 70 Bussorah Street,
where there's a major CMS event taking place.

As you may know, Drupaldelphia 2011 is being held at Temple University on July 29th. At the last meetup we discussed having a "Drupal in Higher Ed track" (possibly with more than 1 presentation per time slot), and I'm wondering if there's interest in making it happen, and whether it would be useful to the edu folks at the camp.

Wie gestern beim DUB Treffen besprochen brauchen wir für das DrupalCamp in Berlin eure Unterstützung. Wie Marco und Ronald schon angekündigt haben, brauchen wir u.a. Leute, die als Chairmen für die Tracks und Sessions mithelfen wollen, Leute die uns beim Empfang zur Seite stehen, beim Auf- und Abbau, usw.

Dort kann sich jeder, der mitmachen möchte, ein Account erstellen und einfach schreiben was er/sie gerne machen würde und/oder Tipps geben.

Ya podéis confirmar vuestra asistencia a la Drupalcamp Spain 2011, el mayor evento drupalero que se celebra anualmente en España, este año será en Sevilla, el 1 y 2 de Octubre. Las entradas están ya a la venta a un precio de 35€ y las podéis adquirir a través de este enlace.
Hay ya una gran cantidad de contenido propuesto, y ya se pueden votar las sesiones y proponer la vuestra.

A couple of months ago (back in January!), we started talking at every user group meeting about a DrupalCamp WNY for Fall 2011. A few people stepped up to form a board after a few of those open calls for interest, and we've had a few meetings (all of us + ad hoc subgroups) to get the planning off to a good start.

More help is needed, though. Volunteers. Sponsors. Presenters. Party organizers (important). Even (gasp) a venue! The event website (based on the popular COD) is coming soon, as are branding concepts that are being donated by a local agency.

The Drupal Association recently announced Drupal Community Cultivation Grants - a new program designed to provide financial support to Drupal event organizers.

While full details are available at the link above, I wanted to make sure this group knew about the program - please spread the word to aspiring event organizers. Raising the initial funds can often be a large hurdle - this program aims to lower the barrier of entry for organizers.

Took a look at the ATL list and see they have finalised the dates for Drupal Camp ATL.

Here is where we are with Drupalcamp Atlanta 2011:

Dates are set for Friday, Sept. 30th and Saturday, Oct. 1st, 2011

We have reserved the same venue as last year for Saturday (Georgia Tech Research Institute).
