BAD WSCCI (The good kind!)
I've finally recovered from BADCamp, where we had a short but productive code sprint on Friday. A number of new people got involved, which is awesome. Even more awesome, the Symfony2 HttpFoundation patch got into core earlier this week(!).
Read moreDifferent Themes, Headers, Menus and Backgrounds
How does one go about having a different theme for each group? Groups should retain the same regions, however, need to have different headers, menus and backgrounds and only override different values than the base theme provides.
A site was installed using Drupal 7.8 and had Organic Groups, Delta and Context modules added along with an Omega theme.

Display fields on different regions.
Hello:
Right now I´m working in my first site using Omega Framework, also using Delta and Context. I´ve created my content types but in some cases (by desing) I need to display some fields in diferent regions of my theme. I´ve been reading about Delta module and Omega framework but I can´t figure out how to do this.
I hope somebody can help me.

I've just been reading through Parker, et al, Designing with Progressive Enhancement, and I'm wondering if anyone else has considered if a similar approach might be implemented in Drupal (D7 in particular)?

Read moreButler in Chicago
I'm a bit late in getting this out, but such is life when moving and attending a wedding. :-)
We had a good Core Conversation on Butler in Chicago. Sadly Dries ended up not being able to attend, but just about everyone else was on board with the roadmap. The roadmap itself hasn't changed much since Copenhagen, but things are moving again. There was also considerable talk of very, very interesting tie-ins to the configuration/deployment core initiatives, as having a more robust pre-database configuration option should help resolve a lot of the challenges we were looking at.
Slides from the presentation are attached below.

Read moreHow to create a 'about the author' contect block/view?
Hi all,
I tried to create a 'about the author' block/view, which should be displayed on the article detail node. Currently, by default the 'about the author' is shown at the bottom (hardcoded in the OP node views).
Read moreContext based on terms added by Rules
I am trying to add sidebar blocks according to the date of the event. It should show different ones, when event is in the future and when is in the past.
For adding sidebar blocks I am using Context module. It doesn't support values of CCK date fields as conditions, so I am trying to use Rules to set terms ("past" and "future"), which can be used to define condition in Context.
The problem is, when I try to execute the rule on "Content is going to be viewed" the Context is activated BEFORE the content is loaded (and term applied), so I have to reload page to see the proper result. This of course isn't acceptable. I can't use Rules Scheduler, because I need to use parameters.
Read moreProblem with saving any block reaction in context
Using OP 2.1-119, btw a really "awesome" piece of sw, but I'm now in a dead lane because of a strange context behaviour I cannot say if it's a bug or a feature. Every time I edit a context, both predefined or newly created, I can save everything but block reactions. For predefined context, for example, when I edit again the context, the block reaction has disappeared (I checked even in the DB).
