DUG Meetups

I've sent them out to various Universities so we can start plugging into their comp-sci students. Next, I want to build a list of businesses already using Drupal, either internally or as consultants. Thanks everyone who came out to Drupal Camp last week. It was really fun! I hope you learned some new things while you were there.

Just wanted to see how much interest there is in having the regular Thursday meeting this month. I'm not sure if it's too close to the camp or not. So if we get more than a few who want to meet let's plan on it. It would be next week on the 28th if we did.

I'm wondering if there is any interest in doing a DUG Meetup during business hours?

In case anyone hasn't heard yet, we're planning to skip the December meetup. In January we'll pick up again with the same schedule and location as before. Every 4th Thursday evening in Sugarhouse.

Wanted to get a conversation started about DUG meetings... What specific topics do you want to hear about at the monthly meetings?

Coming up soon we have another DUG meeting. As usual, it's planned for the 2nd Thursday of the month. At Drupal Camp Utah I mentioned some things about changing it up: trying to include more people, finding a different location, etc... it always difficult to accommodate everyone, and we won't be able to make everyone happy... but, I feel like this will be a good compromise.

I am not going to be available to host the Drupal meetup next Thursday during our normal time. I propose we skip March since Drupalcon is in just a couple of weeks and I know several people are going to it. I'm open to other ideas as well.
