Why do we do Drupal?
To manage content.
The October 2013 Sydney meetup will be dedicated to all things content related in Drupal. There are lots of things to talk about.
- How to structure content: the "chunking" vs unstructured debate.
- Repurposing content for different devices, audiences and business models.
- Designing better user interfaces for editors.
- Content strategy.
We'll shoot for four talks around 15mins each. Lightning talks are encouraged too.

Document repository - need consulting
Quoting on a job.
They need a document repository on a Windows business server, authenticated through LDAP, etc. But it needs a nice intranet front end, which is where the Drupalness comes in.

This month we are talking Developer Experience. What tools and techniques are you using to make your Drupal development more productive?
We'll be having two 20 min main sessions:
- Boris Gordon - Phing
- Dave Hall - WF
As well as three 5 min lightning talks:
- James Gollan - bash scripts ftw
- Marji Cermak - APC
- Rob Caracaus - Compass & Sass
We will have time for Q&A as well, but try to keep it to an hour so we have time for beers at the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel afterwards :-).

We're looking for peeps to talk at the Drupal Sydney August meetup.
Its on the 15th of August and the topic is 'DX' or 'Developer Experience' - we want to hear about your wicked cool deployment processes or some awesome .vimrc file (ok, maybe thats just me that wants to hear about that.) Maybe you have some sweet PHPStorm/Textmate/SublimeText config or plugin or use a sweet API for something.
Anything that you think could make the other devs' lives easier or more exciting (devs need this.)
