Hi,

I am new to this board.

I am looking to move my drupal 6 + ubercart website (www.flowerdeliveryhongkong.com) from a vps to a dedicated server. The who's online block often shows 2000-3000 guests. (I don't know how this is really measured and how much difference it makes.)

Please could anybody recommend a hong kong dedicated server. Does anybody have any experience with Hong Kong Technology Information (HKTI)?

I would like to ask if it is possible for services module to process POST data submitted from iphone / android. Instead of just saving it to a database. I would like to process the data and return back to the mobile devices via JSON format. Can anyone give me a direction on how can i achieve that?

Is there some way, when I create a custom content type to flag a field as global (programaticaly or otherwise) between the created pages?
For example let's say the field in question is a file field, and I create "Page A" I select a file for the file field. Now if create "Page B"
the file field should be prepopulated with the file that I defined on "Page A" because they are of the same type. If I change the file
on "Page B" it should also change on "Page A".

Any ideas?

I'm going to be visiting HK next month (Nov 20-25) and was wondering if there were any HKDUG meetups planned. I'm mostly curious because I organize the Denver meetups and would love to see how other meetups are run. Also, since the 2012 North American Drupalcon is being held in Denver, I may have some pre-drupalcon schwag and promo items to give out.

As you may have noticed, Singapore was granted money for Community Cultivation by the Drupal Association so that we can bring in an international speaker to our DrupalCamp.

Is there anybody you would like to invite?
The funds should be sufficient to bring in somebody from Europe and maybe somebody from the States if we use sponsor money to top up.

Please post your suggestion as a comment, and also - when you post,
1) include the name of the proposed guest
2) write a short explanation why you think we should invite this person
3) what you think are the benefits for the drupal community in singapore / South/SE Asia

Alternately, add to the discussion that you second one of the proposed candidates.

Note that I'm including some groups in the region besides Singapore - there might be funds available for a stopover somewhere else in Asia, so I also encourage members from nearby countries to suggest candidates for the overseas speaker.
