Dear friends, we are pleased to announce the good news! We have started to accept session proposals on the DrupalCamp Donetsk 2011, that will take place at Ramada Hotel in Donetsk, Ukraine at 25-27th of November. You can propose a session on a DrupalCamp website until 31th of October. Afterwards attendees will vote for the best sessions.

The DrupalCamp program includes 14 sessions, BoFs, a code sprint day, contests and a party with a Drupal-rock!

While attending the DrupalCamp you can increase your knowledge of Drupal, meet new professional contacts, find employees or employer. It is going to be more then 100 attendees from Ukraine and Eastern Europe!

On May, 6th 2011 a new Siberian Drupal-community will be announced at the Academpark IT-party.

The event is the first big meetup in Donetsk of the local Drupal community. It will gather Drupal professionals and newcomers. The formal part will be held in Donetsk National Technical University and the informal one in the foobar().

We are working on creating an image gallery with Flash and Flex/ActionScript which will be open source and placed on Drupal.org in the modules section, and are currently in the code review phase. We wanted a bit of feedback from the community before posting this on the Drupal site, so we are having a 30 minute e-seminar to present the module and gather some ideas. DrupalCamp Kyiv 2009 is the region’s biggest conference for web-developers that use Drupal. This year the conference will gather more than 200 developers and entrepreneurs from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus for the purpose of communication, ideas, and knowledge sharing. The key mission of the event is development and strengthening of Drupal community in Eastern Europe.

I am pleased to announce that the next large gathering of Drupalers will be held in Sydney, Australia from May 18th - 22nd 2008 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Center Darling Harbor in conjunction with the Open CeBIT expo and conference. We're inviting people from all over the region - and that means you!

The Drupal Asia Pacific Conference is a major event to gather Drupalers to learn, discuss and advance Drupal. It is also a great opportunity to network with other community members that operate in the Asia Pacific region and who may not be able to attend community events on the other side of the world.

The conference will feature dual tracks over 3 days and a single theatre over a day and half that will also be open to the broader Open CeBIT audience. We are partnering with the Joomla community to host a website building contest which will be prominently highlighted at the OpenCeBIT Conference. All attendees will be provided free entry to the CeBIT expo (20th - 22nd) and offered discounted tickets to the Open CeBIT conference. We will also be hosting a booth as part of the CeBIT Exhibition to educate and promote Drupal to businesses, government, and individual attendees of the exhibition.
