Umbrella Non-Profit for DrupalCampFlorida
Sorry I missed the 10/28 planning call. Following up on my assignment from our last monthly meeting. I have contacted The Philanthropy Center, at Rollins College and explained what we are doing. I generated a resource list of Youtube Clips that explain Drupal and CivCrm module that would make sense to Non-Profits. The response was generally positive, my contact just needs to learn why Drupal and CivCrm are important to his community. In his response to my email, he siad he would get back to me this week.

We need to fill this page with information about the event for all attendees. The planning page is separate to allow for it to be a bit more in flux.
This page will be an info page and will link to the main registration site once we have it up and running.

I just finished this book and wanted to share my review: Every book has a target audience - this book's is pretty narrow is scope - people that want to understand how theming drupal 6 works. Ric Shreves hits the target! I am a mid level drupalite - not a ninja programmer or designer but not a beginner either. I found it very helpful.

Help anyone!
I was adding fields to a CCK content type and my site blew up. Here's the error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3946333 bytes) in E:\Xampp\htdocs \ufd5\includes\database.mysql.inc on line 400
I've searched and found it's a PHP memory size limit and easy to increase in PHP.ini and/or .htaccess? I've tried several things in 3 different places but no luck. Do you have to restart Apache any time you change these files? Is there something else I have to reset?

There seems to be a developing trend among Drupal User Groups to provide listings of local Drupal service providers. Let's show how strong Florida is in a similar fashion as the Seattle Users Group and the Colorado Users Group. If you are a service provider located in Florida, please add your company here.

This month's meetup will be happening at (you guessed it!) Books and Books in Coral Gables.
This month we'll be looking at ways to extend the Drupal interface, especially for administration. We'll look at custom management menus and AJAX user interfaces, and anything else you feel is life-altering.
We'll also be soliciting input for future meetup topics and other events and training in the Miami area... BarCamp anyone?
I look forward to seeing all of you there!

Voce Communications, in partnership with Rollins College will host the third edition of this FREE event that was open to bloggers and non-bloggers alike from Florida and anywhere else. We bring together a good cross-section of folks to discuss blogging, podcasting, public relations, social media, citizen's journalism and other related topics. The event was as much a social/family gathering as it is a 'work' gathering.
Past Keynote Sessions include Shel Israel and Chris Heuer, along with organizer Josh Hallet. This year's lineup has grown from one to four to five sessions (now in the third year).
Check http://www.BlogOrlando.com for details and updates.
