Moving to T&T
Hey Drupallers, I am frazras, a co-admin in the Jamaica Drupal User group. I will be spending the next two or so years in Trinidad and Tobago as of next week.
Having just left the September meetup of the Jamaica Drupal group, I would really love to know that there is a thriving group of Drupallers/Drupalistas in T&T who I can lime with - even to organize an October meetup.
I realize this group has been a bit on the quiet side so I am sending out a PING - soo ACK if you are still alive in this group and if you are interested in a meetup.

Come and learn about the Content Management Systems that power Jamaican Websites, such as Drupal, Plone and Wordpress.
Each presenter will have 10 minutes to present on their CMS and why they think others should consider using it. They will then field questions from the audience for 5 minutes.
Presenters will be addressing topics like:
- Theming the CMS
- What is needed to get started?
- How to manage the content on a typical front page (change the banner, add new items, maybe a calendar of events)
- Security
- SEO
Drupalcon Updates
Im at Drupalcon with axle_foley00 and brunox . So far we have gotten verbal sponsorship confirmation from Lullabot, Phase 2 and Zivtech to sponsor Drupal Camp Jamaica. They suggested that we should do it in the winter for best support from them. I am thinking about January. Will let you know how that pans out.

There's now an official Haitian Creole translation effort at http://localize.drupal.org/translate/languages/ht
We have one site who is starting work on the translation - the more people we can get involved, the quicker it will go. If you're involved with a site and are (or know somebody who is) interested in contributing to a Haitian Creole translation, please get involved. The Localization Client module (http://drupal.org/project/l10n_client) makes it drop-dead easy (no, seriously) to get involved and contribute.

Ok guys as i said at the little meet yesterday just to do a little showcase of what projects we are currently working on / Finished etc with a little note or two.
