Prague Call for Content Closes Friday, 12 July
Hi everyone!
We had a slow start to getting the Prague site up this year thanks to our security issue, but now we're full steam ahead, with over 200 people already registered for DrupalCon Prague! Now all we need is some remarkable content to share with the attendees! If you have an idea for a session or a training, we want to hear from you!
Read moreDrupalCon Core Conversations: reboot
Read http://drupal.org/node/756302 how core conversations started in San Francisco. I would like to get back to this: Lightning talks to tell people "my itch to scratch is X" and then after a few of those, have a breakout session where people actually try to figure out solutions to problems. We have devolved these workgroup occasions into just another maybe more technical presentation track maybe with a little bit more of Q&A -- but not enough by far. (If you are a real old hat, remember Antwerp? We were doing the same.)

Hey Drupal Business Leaders,
We are redesigning the Drupal Association Organization Membership and Supporting Partner Program. Will you take 15 minutes to take our survey, so we can hear your thoughts on the proposed changes?
Here is the link to our blog about the changes and the survey: https://association.drupal.org/node/17903
It's important that we build these programs to meet your business needs so that we help you grow AND we can attract more participating businesses.

Use of visuals for Drupal events (Branding)
Hi guys,
We've been working on the organization of Drupal Global Training Days in our local community and I was wondering if we could potentially use the official logo for the event's promotion, post on groups and communication around the event.

Marketing Fundraising Brainstorm
The Drupal Branding And Marketing Committee {BAM} needs your help!
We are trying to come up with Fundraising Ideas and we would like to hear ideas from you. These ideas must be NEW and not pull funds away from existing sources that already support the Drupal Association.
Where Does The Money Go?
BAM is working on some BIG goals. You can participate in the conversation here on GDO. Right now, we are working on several initiatives that each would require a financial outlay. Plus, we are planning for a significant investment throughout 2013 for the launch of Drupal 8. Our ideas include the purchase of print ads, video production, swag, exhibit booth materials, printed material, professional analysis services, and much more.
Who Is / What Is BAM?
BAM is a grassroots committee, led by Ben Finklea, that exists under the DA and consists of at least one board member and an international cast of independent Drupalers, shop owners, marketers, designers, themers, and coders, who volunteer their time, talents, and resources to place Drupal in the best position possible for future growth via Branding and Marketing. Read more about the creation of BAM in the official announcement by the DA. https://association.drupal.org/about/staff/marketing-branding-committee
