DrupalCamp Spain 2014 is here and will be huge!

This year the event will be held in the city of Valencia and comes with big difference with the other events we have done before. The event will be in the Bancaja cultural centre: a historical bulding of the XIX century in the city center that works as a museum, theatre and venue for events.

Course description: Learn how to get custom functionality using Drupal’s hook system, as well as how to extend or alter contributed module functionality. Participants in this course will have used CCK, Views and Panels to create websites but have never built their own module. Participants will start writing a simple module to writing a complex module, step by step which uses Forms API, Schema API, all of the top ten Drupal hooks, creates custom database tables.

Course description: Learn about the most essential features and concepts of Drupal through hands on activities. By the end of this day you will be familiar with Drupal terminology and be able to identify how 90% of Drupal sites are constructed. You will know how to identify and choose modules to get the functionality you need. Because this class will be an overview and not an in-depth course, it is perfect for people who are on the fence about using Drupal or who are looking for a hands-on introduction.

Drupal Camp PHX is a 2-day conference organized by Drupal professionals and the Phoenix Drupal User Group (PHX DUG) to promote and advance the Drupal community in Arizona and the Southwest region. Drupal Camp PHX brings together a variety of people interested in learning and growing skills in open-source, web content management and web development. This year's camp will consist of trainings, sessions for various levels of experience, and a chance to contribute to the Drupal core.

Friday December 6th is the third time the entire global Drupal community meets to work on preparing Modules for Drupal 8.
We all know that having Drupal8 Core done without any contrib modules is not really very attractive for our customers. Hence this initiative.

Mobilize the Drupal companies in your area, get together, and create some great Drupal 8 modules.

Algo aún más importante que el DrupalCamp que se celebrará el año entrante, es el camino hacia él. Antes del evento, tenemos frente a nosotros la oportunidad de formar, de una vez por todas, una verdadera comunidad de Drupaleros en la Ciudad de México; que por supuesto, queremos que subsista después del mismo.

De lograrlo, se abren muchísimas posibilidades: cursos, recomendaciones, chamba, fiestas y un largo etcétera. Creo que en la Ciudad hay una comunidad esperando, por fin, ser reunida.
