Happy to announce that I became an Acquia Certified Developer. It was a nice experience of writing this exam and cleared the exam. Below are the details of score.
Overall Score: 78.33%
Result: PASS
Topic Level Scoring:
Section 1 - Fundamental Web Development Concepts : 62.50%
Section 2 - Site Building: 93.75%
Section 3 - Front end development (Theming) : 78.57%
Section 4 - Back end development (Coding) : 72.72%

Planning Drupal 8 Release Party in India
The day is soon upon us! Drupal 8 is scheduled to be released on Nov 19, 2015, which is a major milestone not just for the Drupal world, but the PHP world, open source world, and web technologies in general. Drupal 8 is a testament to how open source communities can achieve the best of all worlds through massive collaboration and still leverage modern industry standards and practices.
Code sprint
With Drupal 8 in its alpha release cycle, there is lot of anticipation in the community about starting a project on Drupal 8. However, there is still some work left which blocks the release of the stable version.
Let’s contribute to make that effort a little easy for the maintainers :)
Note: Similar sprints would be conducted at various locations throughout India (background : https://groups.drupal.org/node/458058). So, there will be a lot of people available for help!

Suggestions/Query related to our review process
Some steps of current review process:
- Users are creating sandbox for their new projects and get reviews from other community members.
- Other reviewers give him instructions and some guidelines related to code/Security etc.
- After too many reviews and changes in his code, Project finally gets approved, which upgrades his permission to create a full project.
So my question here is
Why we are giving access to users to create full project without any code review?

The goal of the sprint is to participate in community and keep the contribution culture alive.
