Presenter: Scott Reeves (Cottser), Drupal 8 theme system co-maintainer.
Drupal 8 will have a fancy new template engine (Twig) and a simplified theme layer (we hope). We'll show you the new template syntax (don't worry, it's easy) and walk through some of the major problems in Drupal 7 that have either already been solved in Drupal 8, or that we are still working hard on improving.
Things we're currently improving include:
Syntax
Consistency
Complexity
Redundancy
Security

OK. I give up.
I've installed all the modules, libraries, and javascript files needed for slide shows but am now lost as to where to go next. I've looked at the advanced help but they don't help me set up a slideshow.
I used JCYCLE as suggested at the London DUG meeting in November and was able to do a slideshow or two for my Christmas message at (http://emandem.ca/swans/index.html) and (http://emandem.ca/hshs/index.html) but I could not get the EASING to work as shown in the example ... and I could not figure out how to get it to work on my Drupal website (http://palstratford.org)

Hi LonDUGers;

Dwight Follick's presentation on civiCRM and Drupal integration in a real use-case was very interesting and useful, and I'm looking forward to our move to regular monthly session, every 4th Tuesday of the month ... If I have the date right?
