This is a site we just launched for Curt Smith (1/2 of Tears for Fears). Still sorting thru a few bugs/issues, but the site seems to be holding together -

Kudos to the following -
Hani Hong (http://intrepidina.com/) for design
NikLP (http://drupal.org/user/71221) and MikeyLikesIt (http://drupal.org/user/18219) for theming

cool :)
just giving you feedback because you asked for it.. though i don't think these things would have stuck out had i not put more consideration into it. the site looks good overall!
front page is text-heavy considering the amount of media available in the site.
on "fan" page it says "under construction"... i think at this stage, everyone accepts the web is permanently under construction- so that phrase dates the content for me. instead... maybe add something like "we're interested in what fans would like to hear about in this section; contact us with suggestions or questions" - and elicit fan interaction as part of your development process. it's for them, afterall.
i'm a little confused in the photos section; but i am easily mislead. i think i know you're doing some kinda flickr thing- with before and after photo links in the upper right hand block... but, with the sets appearing and reappearing on different pages.. i am confused on the layout. i think flickr has little test link clues about browsing and info about the section you're in... but i can't put my finger on it.
other than that, it is so nice to see his website, great to see he is also involved in politics as a newly minted US citizen. glad to see him get out the vote :)
Random navigation
Appreciate the feedback!
You pointed out the two issues that we're working on. A view (sorted on 'Created Time') is driving the photo navigation, but for some reason it's random at times. We're a bit stumped on how we can use views or some other module to get the order right.
Good point on 'under construction' - we should either revise that, or ideally, hurry up and finish that section.
Definitely want to showcase more media on the front page. We should be adding an audio player sometime in the near future.
Thanks again for the input!

nice site... question...
I was wondering how you did two things...
1... the hosting of the audio page... how did you do that? what are you hosting on?
2... I am looking for a video hosting platform that is inexpensive but keeps the quality of the videos.
so, could I get some feed back please...
btw, Love the music... and the site.

hosting
Thanks.
We are only hosting audio, no video, so our requirements are very different than yours.
Our client chose to handle their own hosting. If you're looking for good hosting, you may want to check out www.drupalvaluehosting.com. I'm hosting several drupal sites with them and have been very satisfied, both with performance and service. A few months ago they announced a package that includes FFMPEG support so that you can encode uploaded videos into flv files, which is def. the way to go with online video. Check them out, and good luck.
