Coming to the DrupalCamp party? Submit a lightning talk!
Hey everyone,
We're getting things ready for a super-fun DrupalCamp party this Friday! There will be plenty of socializing, some tasty snacks brought to you by a local food truck, free drinks, and a few surprises.
One of the things that made last year's party both fun and inspirational was a series of short presentations about cool and locally-relevant Drupal projects. Have you worked on a Drupal site you want to share? Have you found a module or solution you want to present? Can you talk about it for 7 minutes?

Get Involved with Core Sprint (May 20th, 2012)
If you're anything like me after spending a couple of days talking about Drupal my fingers start to get a little bit twitchy and I just want to sit down and write some code or review a patch. So following the awesome DrupalCamp Twin Cities on May 18-19, 2012 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, Jess (xjm), Tim Plunkett (tim.plunkett) and Joe Shindelar (eojthebrave) will be running a sprint aimed at helping anyone and everyone get involved in Drupal core development.

Local Drupal 6 copy display's blocks as 'n/a' AND Administration Navigation bar missing
Hello everyone,
I have a local install of Drupal 6.22 on my MAC (running MAMP) and I've noticed that when I try to administer/edit a content page my Administrator Menu disappears, blocks display as 'n/a', and my footer goes missing. This makes it beyond difficult to make edits to the pages when they aren't displaying correctly.
I don't have this problem with the live version of the site. I currently use git to keep track of any file changes (like css or node-homepage.tpl.php) between my local and production website.

There's a great event called DrupalCamp Twin Cities going on May 18-19, 2012 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Since the event is fairly close to me, I've signed up to present and also will be organizing a Media sprint on Sunday, May 20th (as well as during the camp of course!).
Agenda
We'll be focused on sprinting for three main goals:
- Accessibility improvements to the Media module
- Cleaning up and polishing file_entity for core (and SimpleTests)
- Drupal core issues (converting file entity to an classed object, file usage system)
- 1.0 release documentation
Sprint progress wiki
We will be using http://lullapad.com/pWGqMEzRKY to track the current issues we're working on and who is working on them.
Time & Location:
We'll start sprinting from 9:30 AM until 4 PM (what time is this in my time zone?). Food and snacks will be provided by our awesome hosts, The Nerdery!
The Nerdery
9555 James Ave S
Suite #245
Bloomington MN 55431
Map: http://g.co/maps/cuf8m
Please note that The Nerdery is NOT within walking distance of the University of Minnesota where the camp itself is being held. It's considerably off-campus. Ask around at the camp to hitch a ride – organizers will try to facilitate transportation. The Nerdery has not yet perfected teleporting but stay tuned.
Want to attend?
If you are interested in attending in person, please comment below! Please try to note how you think you want to contribute during the sprint (coding? documentation? patch testing? writing simpletests?).
Read moreWebforms to email different hidden values?
I have a couple Drupal 6 websites that use webforms to collect leads and within these web forms is a hidden value that is set to see where our leads are coming from (this value gets emailed to us). For example Field Name: Source, Field Value: Apr_Newsletter_banner_2012.
When we send out the "same" form to different locations, we end up cloning the webform and changing the hidden value so we can see who came from which source. This makes for many webforms that are the same except for the hidden value.

Read moreDrupal 6 Ubercart Products with Dates for Calendar
Greetings Twin Cities Drupal Groups,
I need to create products that have date fields. Here is where the development is headed:
User selects Product A
Product A has a date/time field for the user to fill out (select the date/time for an event on the calendar). User fills in a few other fields (cck, I assume), the puts the product into the shopping cart and checks out.
Product is then 'published' as an event on the public calendar.

DO GO to the groups.drupal.org page FOR THE ACTUAL ADDRESS where the meeting is held and for any information on the meeting. I am wondering why this meetup site is kept, when the info is more than incomplete (and actually continues to be inaccurate).
[The site give incorrect info on the address and on attendees and give no information

Drupal 6: drupal_render gives "blank" results
Hi,
I'm trying to add an image to the login page of my drupal 6 site. I've gone into the template.php file and added the following lines of code:
function helpsys_theme(&$existing, $type, $theme, $path) {
$hooks = zen_theme($existing, $type, $theme, $path);
$hooks['user_login'] = array(
'template' => 'user-login',
'arguments' => array('form' => NULL)
);
return $hooks;
}
function helpsys_preprocess_user_login(&$variables) {
$variables['rendered'] = drupal_render($variables['form']);
}April TC Drupal meeting this Wednesday!
Join us for the March TC Drupal users group meeting this Wednesday from 7-9PM.
As you should already know, the second Drupalcamp Twin Cities is taking place on May 18-19. We have two dynamic keynote speakers, two free full-day training events and several community participation sprints ready to roll. What we need now is -- you!
We'll be talking about participating in Drupalcamp tonight. Have you ever considered presenting about something your passionate and know something about? Whether it's something you want to teach, a problem you want to see solved or an idea you want to catch fire -- consider presenting it at Drupalcamp Twin Cities. We'll help you learn what you need to propose a session and be ready to present at the camp. Newbies encouraged -- you don't have to have presented before and the topic need not be super-technical or exclusively Drupal-oriented.
We'll also be talking about participating as mentors for our two free training sessions and in our post-camp community sprints. If you have an interest and some questions -- join us.
Come learn about how Drupalcamps and Drupalcons work together to feed Drupal and the community.
Veterans of 'camps and 'cons are encouraged to join us Wednesday night to share your experience and help us keep the reputation as one of the most vital Drupalcamps in the nation.
