On Sep 30, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM in room 141 Computer Bldg, UP, Bryan Ollendyke from the e-Learning Institute at PSU (see http://elearning.psu.edu/) will chat about e-Learning's use of Drupal for course development and implementation. If you are curious about what a center is doing in this area, please consider attending. Lunch is provided.
You can also attend via Adobe Connect at http://breeze.psu.edu/itpro. <-- you can sign up for a friends of penn state account on this page if you need one to connect from outside PSU
Normally you are asked to register for this at https://register4its.psu.edu, but I don't see anything there for this event. If I do find a link, I'll send it out. There is no cost to attend; they just need head counts.

We'll Be There (Online)
This sounds great Bryan! I'll see how many of our developers and instructional designers I can get to attend the Adobe Connect presentation. Thanks for hosting this. :)

n.p. I'm not entirely sure
n.p. I'm not entirely sure the format, they told me "round table" but then wanted an agenda and there's no one else coming to present so.... we'll see what happens :). I recently gave a talk at the Designs on E-Learning Conference (last week) that will be posted on my projects site soon, this is like an expanded talk more focused on Instructional Designers in terms of example courses, focused on IT professionals in terms of the outline of the technology, and focused on managers / administrators in where to go to get the facts to make an informed decision. Hopefully all three will find something useful cause I know there is a lot of interest at PSU (they've been trying to get Lullabot training on campus for awhile).

Adobe Connect Post-Presentation posted!
I compiled a whole slue of resources on my project's blog for the 2 hour talk that I led yesterday. It also has a link off to the full adobe connect presentation so please feel free to check that out. It covers Drupal at large and then works all the way up to installing a few modules and using them. There's also some Q/A mixed through out and lays the groundwork for what will hopefully be Drupal discussions that I am able to hold on a more regular basis. http://elearning.psu.edu/projects/node/114 Will take you to the posting.
