single sign-on

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I'm trying to find reference and a solution to a single sign-on approach. We have a mixed server environment with the following;
* IIS .net application
* another IIS .net application
* an apache java application
* a moodle application
* a drupal application
* a WPMU instance
* possibly a MediaWiki instance
* a hosted video streaming application
I'd like to work toward creating a single sign-on across all these apps. What options are available to me?
Sincerely, Peter

Opend ID is not a single

Opend ID is not a single sign-on feaure. Its just a single identity to your web.
You have to setup and LDAP server. Even I am working on how to install it.
Wish we could have a drupal like thing for user management.

Shibboleth or CAS is a good choice

CAS: http://www.jasig.org/cas
Offers a single sign-on solution mainly. Releasing of attributes i.e. full name, phone number etc. is sort of a hack at the moment.

Shibboleth: http://shibboleth.internet2.edu/
Shibboleth is a single sign on solution that has full support for attribute release.

CAS or SSO
