Rules Module with LDAP Integration Module

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

My Scenario: I have a triggered rule set up with an Event type of "User account has been created." The trigger has a condition of "User has Role." The argument is a "registered user", and the role is a "teacher."

I also have ldap setup to allow the teachers to login.

My problem: when a teacher first logs in (for instance), they are in the correct group according to LDAP, but the "User has Role" inside of the rules module doesn't recognize this, therefore the trigger/action never happens.

Is it possible that the rules trigger happens BEFORE the LDAP group puts the teacher into the correct permission group?

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks,

We're seeing this on a site here too. Did you ever find a resolution?
